KFT [Kidney Function Test] | RFT

A Kidney Function Test (KFT) is a blood test that measures several markers related to kidney function, including waste products and electrolytes.

Your doctor may recommend a KFT to measure kidney-related parameters as part of a health evaluation, routine check-up, or ongoing monitoring.

Fasting is usually not required. Please follow any instructions provided by your doctor or the diagnostic centre.

The frequency depends on your age, medical history, health condition, and your doctor's recommendation.

A Creatinine Test measures only the creatinine level in your blood, whereas a KFT includes creatinine along with other kidney-related parameters.

Test reports are usually available on the same day.

A Uric Acid Test measures only the uric acid level, whereas a KFT includes multiple kidney-related parameters.
