Digital X-Ray Clavicle AP is a test conducted to view the collar bone and the surrounding soft tissues. When an x-ray of the chest is taken with the back against the film plate and the x-ray machine in the front it is called the AP view. The doctor may prescribe this test to figure out any fractures in the collar bone or to monitor the healing of the broken bone after being set.
