Digital X-Ray Barium Swallow

    A Barium swallow is a test used to rule out problems in the upper GI tract that include the mouth, esophagus, back of the throat, and the first part of the small intestine. This test is conducted through Fluoroscopy which shows internal organs moving in real-time. It involves drinking a Barium Sulphate solution that makes internal parts of the body appear more clear on the X-Ray.
