No, all technicians are most likely male, but for female patients, device only needs to be installed near collar bone above clothes, so it will not be uncomfortable, and they can do this themselves

Please continue taking medications, as per normal schedule and there is most likely no need to change, unless your doctor has prescribed otherwise.
