Scrub typhus IgM test helps identify infections caused by the bacteria Orientia tsutsugamush. The illness caused due to the infection is spread through bites from infected chiggers, which are larval mites. Common symptoms include fever, headache, body aches, rash, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
