Rest Only Myocardial Perfusion

The test is performed to evaluate how well blood is flowing through the coronary arteries and the heart muscle. During the test, a small amount of a radioactive tracer is used that gets absorbed by the healthy heart muscle. On the scan, the damaged areas look different from the healthy areas. The test helps diagnose coronary artery disease.
