NOTA / DOTA PET-CT (For Neuroendocrine Tumors)

NOTA-NOC PET CT scan is an imaging technique that is helpful in evaluating neuroendocrine tumors. In this scan, a radiotracer NOTA-NOC is injected that binds to somatostatin receptors, which are found on the surface of neuroendocrine tumors (NET). Following the injection, the patients undergo a PET scan. The results show NETs anywhere in the body.
