GER Gastric Emptying Study

A gastric emptying scan is a nuclear medicine test that finds out how quickly food leaves your stomach. Your doctor may advise this test on symptoms such as stomach pain, vomiting, nausea, or feeling very full (bloated) after eating. Nuclear medicine is a good way to find out how well the stomach and smaller intestine are working.
