CT Scan Face

  • Also Known As

It is an imaging technique that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the head and face. The scan helps evaluate the bones of the face including the sinuses, orbits, mandible (jaw), and teeth. Unlike an X-ray, the scan provides detailed information about the bone and soft tissue structures. It is useful in finding out the cause of headaches, nasal congestion, and orbital abnormalities.
