CT Angiography - Upper Abdomen with Contrast

It is an imaging test that helps provide detailed images of the blood vessels inside the upper abdomen. The test evaluates ruptured vessels, ballooning of an artery (aneurysm), narrowing of an artery (stenosis), and any blockage in the artery. A contrast agent is used to better visualize the blood vessels. The scan also helps guide the placement of medicine or other materials to treat cancer or bleeding in the abdomen.
