CT Angiography - Left Upper LIMB with Contrast

  • Also Known As

It is an imaging test that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create detailed 3-dimensional images of the blood vessels in the left upper limb. It helps to diagnose narrowed blood vessels or blocked arteries of the wrist, arm, upper arm, shoulder and injured blood vessels of the hand. A contrast agent is used to highlight vascular abnormalities. Your doctor may advise this test to find out peripheral artery disease (PAD) and to find out Takayasu’s disease and Buerger’s disease.
