    It is a diagnostic test that uses a rotating beam of X-rays to create detailed 3-dimensional images of blood vessels in the left leg. It is also called peripheral angiography. A contrast agent is used to find out narrowed or blocked areas in the arteries. Your doctor may advise this scan to diagnose bleeding, and swelling or inflammation of the blood vessels (angiitis).
