Color Doppler for AV Fistula

It is an ultrasound test that measures the blood flow in the blood vessels (veins and arteries) of the arm. The scan helps in the appropriate placement of the AV fistula. It is used in patients undergoing hemodialysis as they face kidney failure or end-stage renal disease (ESRD).
