    In this imaging technique, a contrast material is used to create a highly detailed 3D image of the bones and soft tissues of the face and neck. The purpose of CECT is to find illness by enhancing the contrast between a lesion and normal surrounding tissues. The test covers areas such as salivary glands, cervical vertebrae, facial bones, air-filled hollow sinuses, and larynx (voice box).
