About Us
At House Of Diagnostics, we are at the forefront of medical diagnostic imaging. Our technology and infrastructure directly impact patient care, enabling doctors to make accurate, life-saving diagnoses. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to ensure our critical networks remain robust, secure, and infinitely scalable. In this role, you will be the backbone of our digital infrastructure, ensuring that massive diagnostic files (like MRIs and CT scans) flow seamlessly and securely across our network.
Role Overview
As our Senior Network Engineer, you will take ownership of our entire network lifecycle—from architecture and design to security, monitoring, and compliance. Because we deal with sensitive patient data and critical medical systems, you will play a vital role in maintaining strict security postures, managing DICOM traffic, and ensuring 100% network uptime across all our clinics and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Network Architecture & Infrastructure Management
- Design & Manage Core Networks: Architect and maintain robust network infrastructures, including VLANs, NAT policies, and secure VPN tunnels.
- Maintain LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi: Ensure high availability, redundancy, and scalability across all LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
- Manage SD-WAN & Site Connectivity: Oversee SD-WAN services and manage Aruba Central and Omada platforms for all existing physical sites.
- DICOM Management: Configure, monitor, and manage DICOM Nodes and DICOM Flow to ensure uninterrupted transmission of high-volume medical imaging data.
- IT Asset Management: Track, manage, and maintain an accurate inventory of all network and IT hardware assets.
Security & Access Control
- Firewall & Threat Management: Manage Unified Threat Protection (UTP) policies on Fortigate firewalls including IDS/IPS/Content Filtering.
- Access Control Policies (ACL): Design and enforce strict ACL policies for SSIDs and network devices, utilizing MAC filtering.
- Wi-Fi Security: Manage AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) protocols for all wireless users.
- Baseline Configurations: Validate and enforce system baseline configurations, focusing heavily on OS hardening and strict system patch compliance.
- System Patching: Plan and implement routine system patching and firmware upgrades across all network devices.
Cloud Support & Monitoring
- AWS Cloud Security: Partner with the Cloud Engineering team to support AWS monitoring and enforce cloud network security policies.
- Traffic & Log Analysis: Actively manage and analyze Netflow and Syslogs for performance tuning and anomaly detection.
- Incident Response: Lead network monitoring efforts, perform rapid incident response, and generate detailed post-incident reports.
Audit & Compliance
- Network Audits: Perform periodic network audits and comprehensive security reviews to ensure compliance with healthcare IT standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Audit Reporting: Prepare, document, and present detailed audit reports for internal stakeholders and compliance officers.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer, ideally within a healthcare, enterprise, or data-heavy environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Fortigate, Aruba, AWS networking, and complex routing/switching protocols.
- Healthcare IT (Bonus): Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and the nuances of routing DICOM traffic is highly preferred.
